LINKS WITH PARENTS

The pattern of profiles and Parents' Evenings of years 7-11 continue into the Sixth Form. Additionally, there is an Assessment System. About every six weeks of the year their teacher will mark the categories of attendance, homework record, effort and predicted grade for the exam. The students then discuss their performance as indicated by these marks, with their tutor. In addition the tutors write home to praise students who have done very well in their gradings or to alert parents to a poor performance.

There is a yearly News Letter which details all the contributions and activities of 6th Formers. The Heads of Sixth are always happy to make appointments to see parents at mutually convenient times.
