Elliott was founded as a comprehensive
school in 1956. We are now a
Foundation School and achieved
Language College status in 1997. We
provide for the education of boys and
girls between the ages of 11 -18 years.
Pupils come to us not only from
primary schools in the Putney and
Roehampton area, but from all over
London. There are close links between
Elliott and the schools that send us
pupils.
Elliott is a grade II listed building. It
occupies an attractive site. There are
ample playgrounds and grassed areas.
Elliott is well staffed and equipped to provide a variety of courses
and subjects at levels appropriate to the needs of all
pupils. We have an excellent record of
academic success and a strong tradition
of cultural, artistic and sporting
achievement.
We believe that economic and cultural life has become
increasingly transnational with new information and communication
technologies
underpinning the concept of
the global village. We seek to
develop an internationalist
ethos.
