The Governing Body

Elliott has an active governing body. It has 7 parent members who are elected by the parents, 2 representatives from the local authority, 3 staff members, the Head (ex-officio), 5 partnership and 2 co-opted members. In addition there is a co-opted
member from one of our major sponsors. Partnership and co-opted governors include parents and members of the local community and business world. This encourages a partnership of parents, teachers and the community to share responsibility for the school's successes and its relations with the outside world.
