Extended Essay
The extended essay is one of
the most enjoyable and rewarding parts of the A-Level course. The
requirement is simply to write a 3000 word essay comparing two texts
of the student's choice.
The text can be novels, plays,
literary biographies or collections of poems.
Students are free to choose their own
texts and questions and are given individual tuition on all of the
stages from texts to finished essays. |
What are the
similarities and differences between Pride and Prejudice and
Bridget Jones's Diary?
Do novels
about the future tell us about the future?
How does the
use of an unreliable narrator affect our reading of Fowles', The
Collector and Iain Banks’ The Wasp Factory?

that have been used by students in the past.
