OUR AIM IS TO CONTRIBUTE TO YOUR CHILDS SCHOOL LIFE AND THEIR FUTURE SUCCESS BY DEVELOPING

A PARTNERSHIP BETWEEN PARENTS AND TEACHERS

YOU CAN SUPPORT YOUR CHILD AND THEIR SCHOOL BY:

·        Provide us with your email address so we that can send you important news, dates, information and opportunities regarding your child’s   school.

·        Simply send your email address and name / year of your child to the Chair of the PTA and we will keep you regularly informed of events and activities involving your child.

·        Frequently visit the Elliott website which is updated regularly and is the best way of keeping in touch with the latest news from your child’s school.

·        Attend Elliott Supporters Group meetings which are held several times a year at the school in the evenings, where we meet with staff and plan activities to support the school and its pupils. The purpose of the supporters group is to:

• Maintain and strengthen communications between parents and the school

• Organise a range of events at which parents can meet each other and staff on an informal basis

• Support the school at academic, sports, music and drama events.

• Provide “The Elliott Supporters Award” – a celebration of achievement, to be given once a term to a student who has contributed to school life.

• Raise money to support pupils directly in any projects or clubs they set up.
