Our Language Assistants

Ms M E Luna Rabaneda

¡Hola!

My name is Elena and I am the Spanish assistant at Elliott School.

I come from Ecija, a town near Seville, in the South of Spain. My town is well known because it is the hottest place in Spain, so people call it The City of the Sun, or The Pan of Andalucia.

I am really enjoying my time in London and in Elliott School. It is a pleasure to teach in a place that is so dedicated to languages. I find that students are really interested and encouraged in studying a foreign language so I really love sharing my language and my culture with them. It is also very useful for them to be in contact with a native speaker, and very helpful for me, as I would like to become a teacher of Spanish in the future.

Miss K Spottl

Guten Tag,

My name is Klara Spottl. I am the new German language assistant at Elliott. I am 23 years old. In Germany l studied English and French and in the future I would likr to be a teacher. l also speak Italian.

I come from Munich, which lies in me south of Germany. Munich is near the Alps and is famous for the Oktoberfest and its football team Bayern Munchen. These are just two of the many attractions in the capital of Bavaria.

I really enjoy being a foreign language assistant in London. Not only is it a great opportunity to experience the British school system, but helping and assisting the students is also a lot of fun. I think my work with the students is very important. It gives pupils the opportunity to talk with a native speaker. I am able to give pupils a better understanding of the language, the pronunciation and especially German culture.

Miss J Barbier

Bonjour !
