TRUST CONSULTATION

As parents are aware, there have been plans to make Elliott a National Challenge Trust School for some time.  Over the past few weeks, discussions have been taking place with Chestnut Grove School, Ernest Bevin College and Roehampton University about the possibilities of them becoming the Trust partners.  The DCSF has now given approval for consultation to go ahead on this, and the Elliott Interim Executive Board is therefore launching the consultation today, 3rd February, for the next six weeks.

The potential benefits of this proposal to all the partners, but especially Elliott, are set out in a detailed consultation document which can be accessed via the following link:  www.wandsworth.gov.uk/elliottschoolconsultation where you will also find details of how to respond.  Hard copies of the consultation document will be distributed to all interested parties over the next few days.

The consultation meeting for parents in on Wednesday, 24th February at 7.30 p.m. at Elliott School.  We hope to see lots of you at this meeting, because this is obviously an important step in Elliott’s development and future.

Please do take the time to look at the document and let the IEB have your comments and suggestions.

Yours sincerely,

Margaret Peacock, Headteacher

Lorraine O’Reilly, Chair of the Interim Executive Board
